This penthouse duplex occupies the top floors of an 1891 SoHo building originally designed by De Lewis Hordes. The living room features twelve-foot ceilings and large windows that fill the space with light. A marble fireplace with brass detailing anchors the room, while a structural column wrapped in brass becomes a defining element. The kitchen flows directly into the living area, centered around a large island in Fusion marble that acts as both workspace and focal point. The primary bathroom sits beneath dormer windows that soften the light across plaster walls and wood surfaces. Above, a two-story terrace extends the living space outdoors. Limestone paving in different tones defines areas for seating and gathering while framing open views of the city. The project combines the historic character of the building with a more contemporary interior expression.
